Strange that this popped up on my Facebook wall today after I was thinking of Paddy the other day. I was parked up in Golspie recently and looked at the old Spar shop (now Nisa). Paddy used to stop their on our way to work in Brora and get a paper and a cheeky bacon roll for breakfast. Not every day but often enough. One morning, I fell asleep on the way to work (as I normally did) but I woke up passing Dunrobin Castle feeling a strange warmth on my lap. I'd slept through the Spar stop but Paddy had bought us breakfast and dumped it all on my lap as he drove. Lucky he didn't buy a coffee.
